About me

University of Huddersfield

I am currently in my second year of a BA degree in Costume and Textile design at the University of Huddersfield.  The Course includes design, illustration, contextualisation and construction of theatre costume as well as textiles techniques. Having studied embroidery and print in my first year I am now majoring in print as my chosen textile option.

During the first year I produced designs for The Vaudevillians and The Magic Flute. At the start of my second year I have produced costume for a University production of Cabaret, I am currently working on costume and print designs for Jonathan Lynn’s screenplay, Clue, and will be constructing a chosen design during the Spring Term, I have expanded my understanding of print techniques which will be used in the chosen Clue costume and am currently working on a set of designs for The Great Gatsby produced as a ballet.
